High Falls County Park

Created in 1971, this 44-acre park situated on Lake Keowee offers access to the area’s premier water playground. The park is fully equipped with two boat launch sites, a fishing pier and a lovely level beach
with a swimming area (no life guard; all water activities
at your own risk)

visitors to enjoy fishing, swimming, skiing, sailing, boating or just curling up in a deck chair with that
favorite book.

This setting beside the water gives High Falls a tranquil, natural beauty that is evident throughout the Park.

tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball, miniature golf, horseshoes and softball fields, this Park has it all.

The camping and RV areas are nestled in trees next to the lake and there are 100 sites with water, electricity, a bathhouse and a dump station just outside the Park.

Located just 10 miles from Seneca, the Park gives access to all a camper or visitor could need. Plus there is a Park store located in the 1830’s Alexander/Cannon/Hill House that offers a variety of items for sale.

High Falls County Park

From Walhalla, take SC-183 about 8 miles to High Falls (right turn only and there is a Park sign.) Follow the road and it dead ends in the park.

From Seneca, take SC 28 north to SC-188. Turn right and go to SC-183, turn right and follow directions above.

Or: From Seneca, take SC-130 north until it joins SC-183. (when SC-130 turns north, stay on SC-183.) About 3 miles down SC-183 there will be a sign for High Falls Park. Turn left. Road dead-ends in the park

South Cove County Park

South Cove County Park is located on the southern
tip of the beautiful clear, blue waters of Lake Keowee.
The Park gives easy access to the lake whether it’s for boating, swimming, camping or just plain relaxing.

The Park has two boat ramps for fast loading and unloading of boats and hosts the fisherman’s Bass Circuit when on Lake Keowee where pros and amateurs compete to catch largemouth and smallmouth bass.

The amenities of this Park are numerous including 88
RV and camping sites with full hookups, a bathhouse
and a dump station on site. Many of the sites are right on the water’s edge, providing beautiful vistas and relaxing breezes.

The beach and swim area (no lifeguard, all water activities are at your own risk) are level and gradual, making it ideal for small children. With tennis courts, playground equipment, putt-putt golf, and picnic shelters, the Park is great for day visitors and campers alike.

From Seneca: go north on SC-28. Turn right on SC-188. Turn right at the next road (a stop and go light) and follow until it dead ends at the Park.
